Erin's Graduation Story

Graduation Spotlight:
Erin – Bedford, MA

  • Services Received: ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy
  • Graduated: 2025
  • Current Status: Thriving and free from self-injuring behaviors

When Erin first came to Bierman Autism Centers in Bedford, her family was facing one of their hardest chapters. Erin had been asked to leave her public school due to self-injuring behaviors. Her mom describes feeling heartbroken and uncertain about what the future would hold.

From the moment Erin’s parents walked into Bierman, filled with smiling children and welcoming staff, they knew they had found the right place. Over the next two and a half years, Erin worked with many dedicated team members, but her mom says her BCBA, Kati, played a life-changing role in her journey.

Through personalized, play-based ABA therapy, Erin gained skills her family once thought impossible. She graduated without any self-injuring behaviors and with a new sense of independence and confidence.

Erin’s mom shared,

“What you do is not just a job; to families like mine, you are our hope. You’ve given Erin the tools to do great things, and you’ve changed our family’s life forever.”

Creating Progress and Possibilities® for every child, every day.
