Bierman Rising Scholarship Terms and Conditions

The scholarship contest (the “Contest”) in which you are participating is offered by Bierman ABA, Inc., d/b/a Bierman Autism Centers, an Indiana corporation (“Bierman”). Please review this document in its entirety. As a condition of your participation in the Contest, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Participation Criteria & Timelines

You represent that you have reviewed the eligibility criteria for participation and that you meet all of the criteria required to qualify as a participant. You certify that the information contained in your application and all other materials submitted by you for consideration are true and correct to the best of your knowledge. Submissions must be original work and not AI-generated/fabricated or plagiarized in any form. You agree to inform us of any changes in your eligibility qualifications. You are responsible for the timely submission of your application and all required documentation. Applications/documentation received after the deadline may not be considered.  

Scholarship Awards

You understand that this is a competitive scholarship program. Scholarships will be awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis. Awards will be made without regard to race, creed, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, or any other factor prohibited by law. Applicants employed by Bierman are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The number of recipients and amount of each scholarship may vary from year to year. Selections are based on information and materials submitted by you and received by us by the deadline. All selection decisions are final and non-appealable. In the event you are awarded a scholarship or other remuneration you will be responsible for the payment of any state and local taxes associated with the award. You agree to adhere to any use restrictions associated with the award that are stated in writing in connection with a particular Contest (for example, funds may only be used for costs of tuition).   

Communications

You consent to receiving communications from us in electronic form, including email transmission and text message. Data rates/fees associated with such communications, if any, will be your responsibility. You also consent to Bierman and/or its affiliates maintaining your contact information for future communications from us, even if you are not awarded a scholarship. If you want us to discontinue communicating with you following the conclusion of a Contest, you can unsubscribe directly from any email you receive or email marketing@biermanautism.com.

Intellectual Property

You warrant and represent that all components of the materials you submit (text, graphics, photos, designs, etc.) are your original work and do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any other person. You will notify Bierman immediately if you become aware of any actual or potential claim that the materials you have submitted infringe the rights of any other person. You agree that we may utilize your submissions (in whole or in part), your name, your image/likeness, and the name of the educational institution with which you are affiliated for promotional and marketing purposes such as social media, blog posts, web pages, as part of future recruitment campaigns, email, and other marketing channels all without compensation to you. You also acknowledge that your name and the details of your participation in any Contest may be disclosed as part of our internal corporate processes, our communications with educational institutions, and our filings with governmental and regulatory authorities.
