Bierman Autism Centers opened their first center in Arizona in 2021 in Scottsdale, AZ. Our center is located at 8444 North 90th Street, Suite 130, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Welcome to Our Scottsdale AZ Autism Center!
The average child diagnosed with autism is with Bierman for about two years, and we are excited to share that as of 2022, we have already celebrated our first official Arizona Client Graduation! Our center offers diagnostic evaluations, center-based ABA services, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We started to offer diagnostic services in 2022 to help with the long autism screening wait times we saw across the state. In addition, we are in-network with most major insurance providers throughout the state and are excited to help Arizona children reach their goals.
We have built our center from the ground up with attention to detail and the client’s needs in mind. Our physical space provides large individual therapy space within a low-capacity classroom to optimize each child’s outcomes and help them transition to school when they graduate. Additionally, our indoor playground and gross motor space allow kids to interact and work on social skills year-round without worrying about the hot Arizona summers.
Our center can accommodate up to 40 clients at a time, and we have had great success with activities such as our Winter in July Celebration and Polar Express Day before the holidays. Our Sunshine Committee finds ways to incorporate fun through spirit weeks, dance parties, client interactions, and engaging group activities. Check out our Facebook page to see some of our fun!
At Bierman, we understand the importance of communication and ensure that parents are involved in the growth process. We work with each family to identify their goal and develop individualized programs for each child. The team hosts caregiver trainings, and we conduct regular parent check-ins, send home detailed daily notes, and have individual conversations at drop-off and pick-up to ensure that we are constantly meeting each client where they are and meeting their needs. We also incorporate quarterly events to bring our clients, staff, families, and Bierman graduates together to celebrate success. Our mission is to create progress and possibilities.
As a community-minded center, we attend Autism Acceptance events and partner with the Arizona Autism Coalition, Autism Society of Greater Phoenix, Autism Speaks of Arizona, and other organizations to engage with the community and meet new people. We also coordinate in-house initiatives like canned food drives and donation drives to give back and help those around us.

We make learning fun so the learner can accomplish everyday goals engagingly and effectively. Every Bierman team member is here because they truly care and want to make a difference in our clients’ lives.
