Therapy here is built to move children forward. Progress is measured every day so we can act on it quickly, keep momentum strong, and make sure your family always knows what’s happening and why.
Most families come to us having waited a long time for the right support. We take that seriously. From the start, your child’s team sets clear, meaningful goals and tracks progress consistently, so we know what’s working, what needs to change, and what comes next.
You will always have a clear picture of where your child is headed.
Every outcome is the result of clinical decisions made on purpose. Our systems are designed to keep children moving forward, catch plateaus early, and maintain consistent quality across every center.
Therapy here is designed to feel like childhood. We blend evidence-based science with the power of play, so skills like communication, independence, and self-advocacy are built in a warm, joyful environment your child actually wants to come back to.
Skills are built for generalization, meaning your child learns to use them at home, at school, and in the community, not just in our centers.
Functional language, social exchange, and AAC use built into every session.
Self-care, daily routines, and community readiness so skills matter beyond the clinic.
Classroom engagement, peer interaction, and the adaptive skills that support transition.
Families aren’t observers in this process. We work closely with you to set goals that matter, share progress in plain language, and navigate next steps together, so you’re never left guessing.
Caregiver coaching is built into every program. We practice skills with you, answer questions regularly, and make sure what happens in therapy is something you can support at home.
Structured practice, in-person or via telehealth, with real feedback.
Clear reports on goals mastered, skills in progress, and what comes next.
A deeper check-in to adjust goals, celebrate progress, and plan ahead.
A Bierman graduation is a clinically defined milestone. Your child graduates when they’ve met their individualized goals and completed a transition plan that supports success in their next setting. And our accountability doesn’t stop there.
Initial satisfaction and functional readiness captured at the point of graduation.
School placement verified. Family outcomes assessed 6 months post-graduation.
Progress verified, confirming that gains are holding and the transition is on track.
Final longitudinal check confirming outcomes have held over time.
Since 2006, more than 375 children have graduated from Bierman programs. More than 60% transitioned to a general education setting, verified through post-graduation follow-up.
Data from 2023–2025 graduate cohorts. Every child’s journey is unique; individual outcomes will vary.
From your child’s first day to graduation, these are the things every family can count on.
You will always understand what your child is working on, why it matters, and how it's going.
Progress is monitored closely so therapy doesn't stall. When something works, we build on it.
When something isn't working, the plan adjusts quickly. We don't wait months to act on what the data shows.
Skills focus on real life — communication, independence, self-advocacy, and participation, not just clinic performance.
Families are part of the team. You won't be left guessing about what's happening or what comes next.
Secure entry, verified pick-up procedures, and trained teams keep children safe and supported every day.
Every goal your child masters, like tying a shoe, asking for help, greeting a classmate, is tracked, measured, and built on. Across our 20 years and 3 million hours of therapy, those individual steps have added up to something extraordinary.
Progress doesn’t happen by chance. It happens because every small win is seen, recorded, and used to decide what comes next.
Bierman operates like a teaching hospital for pediatric therapy. That means the people working with your child aren’t just filling sessions — they’re part of a structured mentorship and development system designed to build real clinical judgment.
Clinicians are trained through Bierman University, our 100+ course internal development system. Supervision happens onsite, in the room, not from a distance. The result is a team that earns board certifications at rates well above the national average, and 90% of our clinical directors came up through our own program.
What that means for your family: consistent quality regardless of which center you attend or which clinician your child works with.

Progress is measured every day and reviewed every 3 to 5 days, not every quarter. You’ll receive monthly updates and a six-month treatment plan review, and your child’s team will explain what the data means in plain language. You’ll always have a clear picture of where your child is and what comes next.
Every child is different, and individual clinical needs determine the right length of services. Across our programs, the average time from start to graduation is about 18 to 20 months. Graduation and transition planning are built in from day one. Services here have a direction and a defined endpoint, not an indefinite horizon.
Because progress is reviewed every 3 to 5 days, plateaus are caught early, not months later. When something isn’t working, the clinical team adjusts the plan quickly, so your child keeps moving forward rather than spending extended time on a goal that isn’t landing.
Graduation is a clinically defined milestone, not just an end date. Your child graduates when they’ve met their individualized treatment goals and completed a transition plan that supports success in their next setting, whether that’s a general education classroom, a preschool program, or another environment. More than 60% of our graduates transition to a general education setting.
Yes, family involvement is built into every program. Caregiver coaching happens 1 to 4 times per month, in person or via telehealth. We practice skills with you directly, so what your child learns in therapy can carry over at home, at school, and in the community.
Families deserve both progress and peace of mind. Our centers have secure entry, verified pick-up procedures, trained clinical teams, and cameras throughout to ensure consistent adherence to our standards. Safety supports learning, and learning supports progress.
