THE BEGINNING

It started with one family. One child at a time.

Courtney Bierman, Founder of Bierman Autism Centers

In 2006, Courtney Bierman started this work in her apartment. One child. One family. One visit at a time.

Autism had touched her family personally. That experience led her into the field as a behavior technician, where she saw what was possible and what needed to change. So she built it.

What’s scaled isn’t just our reach. It’s our soul. And our focus on excellence. And our belief that progress should be visible, not mysterious.

When something is working, we double down. When it's not, we adjust fast. Because kids cannot wait.

PROGRESS, VISUALIZED

Outcomes you can see at scale.

We measure progress every day so families don’t have to wait months to see if something is working. The result: more wins, more momentum, more kids moving forward.

Graduations by Year

2025: 79 graduates. Our highest year ever, more than 2x what we did just five years earlier.

Hours of Therapy Delivered

Direct therapy hours per year (2020 to 2025)

3.3x growth in 5 years. Behind every hour is a clinician we trained and a child building skills that matter.

THE BIERMAN WAY

Two missions.
Working as one.

Like a teaching hospital, we’re built around two priorities at once: delivering exceptional outcomes for children, and developing the clinicians and teachers who make those outcomes possible.

That’s how outcomes scale without losing their soul. Not through any single tactic, but through a way of operating that demands rigor, accountability, and consistency at every level.

Outcomes-Obsessed

Everything starts and ends with the child's growth. Outcomes aren't a metric we report on. They're the responsibility we plan, teach, and lead toward every day.

People-Driven

Great outcomes require great clinicians. We invest through structured mentorship and Bierman University.

Excellence With Urgency

Kids can't wait. When progress stalls, we don't wait for the next big review. We inspect, adjust, and keep momentum moving.

For every child.
For every clinician.
For every family.

Clinical excellence meets leadership. Outcomes meet mentorship. Heart meets structure. That's the point.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

PEBBL is just the beginning.

In 2025, we launched PEBBL (Progress through Evidence-Based BehavioLab), our practice-embedded ABA research program. It turns real-world clinical work into real-world learning, strengthening care today while developing clinicians and advancing the field.

01

Research where the work happens

Clinical questions answered with real Bierman data, in real Bierman centers, by clinicians doing real work.

02

Better care, faster

What we learn flows directly back into how we practice. Closing the loop between science and service.

03

A field that gets stronger

What works gets shared. We don't keep good practice to ourselves. We publish, present, and teach it.

Twenty years in, and we're still asking the same question we asked on day one: what would help this child move forward today? Everything else flows from that.

Twenty years of forward motion.

Whether you’re a family looking for care, a clinician looking for a career, or a partner who wants to move this field forward with us. We’d love to know you.
