Anna Borders is a Clinical Director with Bierman Autism Centers in Charlotte, North Carolina. She joined Bierman in 2024 as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and moved into clinical leadership in 2025. Today she oversees clinical programming at her center and supports the BCBAs and therapy teams who work with each child and family.
Anna has worked in applied behavior analysis since 2018, when she began her career as a Registered Behavior Technician. Since then, she has conducted assessments such as the VB-MAPP and AFLS, built individualized treatment plans, and served as a senior behavior analyst and regional coordinator. Mentorship runs through her work. She has trained and supervised behavior analysts in the field and served as a mentor through Simmons University.
In her clinical work, Anna uses precision teaching to blend structured learning with play. She brings families into treatment as active partners, because the science of behavior analysis works best when parents and caregivers are part of the plan.
Anna earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons University, graduating summa cum laude, and her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science from Clemson University.
