SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms describe the text messaging program offered by Bierman Autism Centers (“Bierman,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.
About our text messaging program
When you provide your phone number on one of our forms and check the consent box, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Bierman Autism Centers at the phone number you provided. Messages may include:
- Responses to your inquiry
- Information about our services, locations, and availability
- Appointment scheduling and reminders
- Intake and onboarding updates
- Occasional updates about Bierman programs, events, and resources
Messages may be sent using automated technology.
Consent is not required
You do not have to agree to receive text messages to receive services from Bierman. If you prefer not to receive texts, simply leave the consent checkbox unchecked when submitting our forms, and our team will follow up by phone or email instead.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. You may receive multiple messages per week during active intake or onboarding, and fewer messages otherwise.
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Bierman does not charge for the messages themselves, but your carrier’s rates apply to messages you send and receive.
How to opt out
You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time:
- Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent to that number.
- Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at marketing@biermanautism.com or 800-931-8113.
- You can also email us at marketing@biermanautism.com to request removal from our SMS list.
Re-subscribing
If you opt out and later want to receive messages again, you can opt back in by submitting one of our forms with the SMS consent box checked, or by contacting us directly.
Supported carriers
Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Information you provide through our SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or share it for marketing purposes outside of Bierman.
If you are receiving messages related to clinical services already in progress, the content of those messages may include Protected Health Information (PHI) governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective Date above.
